Kids playing in the Rio Pastaza, Amazon Rainforest, Ecuador. Captured by me.

02       AMAZONIA – ECUADOR

Deep in the Ecuadorian Amazon, among lush forests and winding rivers, the project unfolded once more — this time shaped by the children’s vibrant collective spirit.

In an Ashuar village where life is inseparable from the wild richness of flora and fauna, ten kids took disposable cameras and turned photography into a playful shared adventure. Together, they documented family, friendship, and nature, discovering new ways to bond and entertain themselves in a challenging land full of wonders and hidden dangers.

These photographs reveal their daily lives and connections through a joyful, communal lens — offering glimpses of a world captured entirely on their own terms.
