Photography, for me, is an emotional act — a gesture that translates what I feel, not just what I see.

I’m a visual artist based in Italy, working entirely with analog photography, including 35 mm film, Polaroids, and a range of alternative photographic processes. My practice moves across disciplines and explores themes of memory, impermancence, and connection – through both documentary and experimental approaches.

Sometimes I follow a documentary and anthropological path, investigating human relationships, cultural identity, and our link with the environments we inhabit. Other times, I focus on material and ecological aspects — experimenting with plant-based formulas and light-sensitive techniques that embrace tactility, slowness, and the beauty of imperfection.

In all these methods, photography becomes a language — a way of observing and staying close to what is fleeting, essential, and real.

Alongside my personal work, I develop participatory photography projects with children in rural and remote communities – including the Andes and the Amazon.
Using analog cameras, I invite them to document their lives from their own point of view, turning photography into an accessible, expressive, and empowering act.

These experiences have deepened my belief in  photography as a creative and intercultural language – a tool for self-expression, human connection, and shared storytelling.

Before photography, I worked for several years as a Visual Designer and Creative Director between London and Rome – shaping an aesthetic sensibility that now lives on through light, chemistry, and the handcrafted photographic image.

My work has been shown in galleries across Italy, featured in festivals, and published internationally.
